Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Trail Hits ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

Trail Hits is a bike maintenance tracking application that helps users monitor component wear and schedule service based on ride data and GPS-derived strain calculations. The App is available for iOS devices.

Account Registration

To use Trail Hits, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your password secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Free Trial and Payment

Trail Hits offers a free trial of 10 rides. After the trial period:

• A one-time payment of $9.99 unlocks lifetime access
• Payment is processed through Apple's App Store
• There are no recurring fees or subscriptions
• Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Share your account credentials with others

Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Trail Hits and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the data you input into the App (bike information, maintenance records, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the service.

Third-Party Services

Trail Hits integrates with third-party services like Strava. Your use of these integrations is subject to those services' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Strain calculations will be perfectly accurate
• Service reminders will prevent all component failures

Important: Trail Hits provides maintenance suggestions based on estimated wear. Always inspect your bike regularly and consult a qualified mechanic for safety-critical components. We are not liable for any damage or injury resulting from component failure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trail Hits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trail Hits from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
